Like other denominations, Unitarian Universalists may choose to recognize life transitions with a public ceremony. The format and structure may be rather traditional, or may be uniquely crafted by and for the indiviuals involved. Ceremonies include weddings, child dedication, coming of age, new member recognition, and memorials.
